CH Cloud Dancer's Jet To Bertschire JH WCX - "Jet" is our first Dutch import.  Jet won his 6-9 month puppy Sweepstakes and regular classes at the 2003 national specialty in Carlisle PA, then went on to Best of Opposite Sex in Sweeps and Reserve Winners Dog!!   Jet is co-owned with Kellie Kanipe.  .  Jet is an outstanding house dog and quite an entertaining character.  His field work is also outstanding, as he demonstrates natural marking ability, high drive, excellent water attitude/entry and trainability!  Jet is a dog of excellent stability and extraordinary judgment in matters of the "pack". He is an easy dog to live with and has a wicked sense of humor! Jet has fabulous side movement and is light on his feet. He has a beautiful forechest, nice balance and great bone. His feet are the best we have ever had; his nails have NEVER been trimmed. His head is unmistakably flatcoat and very masculine. He has nice length and depth of rib and is a dog of good proportions, with excellent bone.  Level bite.  Eyes are clear and his gonioscopy is slightly affected.  Jet lived to be over 10 yrs. 

'03 BISS CH Dutch Lux  Swedish CH Steelriver Could It Be Magic JH, CW2006

"Robin" was on loan to us from the Netherlands from early 2003 until early 2004.  He is owned by Wilma van der Horst.  His breed type, silhouette and temperament are exceptional.  In addition to winning several Group placements in Europe, Robin was awarded Best of Breed at the Dutch clubshow (May 2006), making him a specialty winner in the USA and in Holland.  We hope that his qualities will be of great use to us, and he has already produced some exciting children in the US!  He is consistently producing his silhouette, coat, working ability (especially marking), water attitude and wonderful temperament. In the US, Robin has 1 Master hunter, 3 Senior Hunter titled offspring and another with Senior legs.  Robin has received a clear gonioscopy as well as cleared for eye diseases by a board-certified ophthalmologist.  Scissor bite.  He is pure for black.  OFA information  Frozen semen has been retained. 

We received news that Robin passed away in his sleep at the age of 9 yrs.  He was an extraordinary dog in every way, and he will be greatly missed.

"10 BOSS '13 BISS GCH Bertschire Horse Power JH WC -  We didn't intend to keep a boy from the Kai x Barrett litter, but "Power" was quality from the day he was born.  He has great bone, a gorgeous head, beautiful forechest, topline and length and depth of rib.  Power has begun his field training and is very exciting; exhibiting above-average biddability, strong retrieve desire, great water attitude and a quiet sensibility.  He is trustworthy with puppies as well as adult male dogs.  At his first national specialty, Power placed 3rd in his sweepstakes class, and 2nd in the competitive Bred By Exhibitor class at the tender age of 17 months!  Power's national specialty career has been exceptional.  First exhibited as a youngster, he began by placing 2nd in a competitive Bred by exhibitor class at 17 months of age, and in subsequent years was awarded (in order) - Reserve Winners Dog ('08), Winners Dog ('09),  Best of Opposite Sex ('10), Judge's Award of Merit ('11), Select Dog ('12) and he capped his career by winning Best of Breed in 2013 at age 7!   Power was rarely shown in all-breed competition, and was retired from all showing following his BISS win in 2013.  Power lives with Annemiek Kuik and family near Atlanta.  Level bite. CH Flat Castle's Aristolochia Durior - Drum is our first import from the Flat Castle's kennel in Holland.  We had long admired both of his parents and were delighted to be able to buy this nice pup.  Drum has fantastic bone, a gorgeous head and a correct silhouette.  He is a charming dog; delightful to live with.  Drum won Best In Sweepstakes at the MD Sporting Dog supported entry in March '10, then was Best of Opposite Sex in the puppy sweepstakes at the SEFCRF supported entry in May '10 and followed that with a 3 point major from the 9-12 class.  Drum won a sweepstakes 2nd and a regular class 3rd at the 2010 FCRSA national specialty, and won his 2nd major by going Winners Dog at the 2011 SEFCRF supported entry.  He placed 3rd in the large open dog class at the 2011 national specialty and finished with 4 majors, winning Best of Breed over a large class of specials.  His first litter shows much promise in every area.  Scissor bite    Eyes clear

'15 BOSS GCH Bertschire Pyromania - Spark is our pick from the Dutch/Flame litter.  We love his head, bone, topline, forechest and rib proportions!  He is a clean mover coming and going, with lovely side movement.  In addition, he loves to retrieve and swim, so we think he is very promising!  Spark began his show career in a big way - his first time in the ring at 7 months old, he was Reserve Winners Dog behind his cousin, Slide at the FCRCI supported entry in Illinois, November 2009, then was Winners Dog and Best Of Opposite (to his mother, who was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best of Breed!) over multiple specials for a 5 point major the following day!  Spark placed 4th is his sweepstakes class and made the cut in the Bred-by Exhibitor class at the 2010 FCRSA national specialty, placed 4th in Bred-by at the 2011 specialty and 3rd in a strong bred-by class at the 2012 specialty, and finished with 4 majors in very limited showing, including a best of breed over specials. His first litters are on the ground, and are most promising in type, temperament and working ability.  Spark was the BOB/Best Bred by Exhibitor in Breed winner at the 2013 Eukanuba national championship and is a multiple group placer was awarded Best of Opposite Sex, FCRSA 2015, then was named Best in Veteran sweeps and awarded a Judge's Award of Merit, FCRSA 2016.  Scissor bite   Eyes clear  VGL diversity report ID: 6377-4472-6563-0140

Our Dogs

FlatOut In The Bag - "Duffle" is a stud fee pup who could be his father's twin!  He has a gorgeous head, correct bone, excellent front and feet, and the long, deep ribcage we always look for.  Duffle placed in both of his classes at both of the specialties he attended, and was Winners Dog at the SEFCRF supported entry in July 2015.

Flat Castle's Ixon Brown Boy - "Tanner" is everything we were looking for when we saw this great litter from kennel Flat Castle's!  Head, bone, angles, ribcage, and movement!  To top it off, he is extremely easy to live with and loves to retrieve.  Tanner has 4 points in limited showing.  A very promising youngster, we look forward to the future with Tanner.

Kistryl Tempest - "Tempest"is a lovely dog bred by Cheryl Kistner and Marilyn Wilcox.  Bold and outgoing, Tempest loves to swim and retrieve.  He has a spectacular head, outstanding bone and forechest, with a super topline and lovely movement.  He won his first points at his first show at 6 mos of age, was awarded Best of Opposite Sex in puppy sweeps at FCRSA 2016, won 9-12 puppies at FCRSA, then followed up with Best Puppy in sweeps, Winners Dog and Best of Winners at the Piedmont FCR Club's supported entry and repeated those wins the following day for a total of 11 points in just 3 all-breed shows at age 11 months!  Tempest finished his championship his first weekend out following the 2017 national, with a Best of Breed out of the classes, then was awarded Select dog at the Piedmont FCRC supported entry by breeder-judge Kurt Anderson at his first show as a special!  His show career continues to be exciting, with his most recent win being a Judge's Award of Merit at the 2018 FCRSA national specialty, under noted breeder-judge Jim Irvine of VBOS kennel in Scotland.
